As Market Manager and the Head of Hong Kong and the Philippines for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, I am responsible for helping to grow our presence in theses markets as well as leading a team of bankers that delivers strategic advice and customized solutions to ultra-high-net-worth clients. My goal is to enable my team to seamlessly offer customized solutions for investments, credit, wealth transfer and philanthropic services that our clients need to solve for their multifaceted financial goals. From finding and developing the right talent and ensuring they have the products, tool and technology they need, to helping solve challenges and close deals, I provide the support to my team to be successful in a prudent way.

In my 20+ years with J.P. Morgan, I have held positions in both the Investment Bank and the Private Bank in Asia and the US. I've been inspired by the exciting industry we work in, the successful clients that we serve, and the exceptionally talented individuals I work with. Zita Chung

Head of fund-of-funds investment

Ms Zita Chung is the Chief Investment Officer responsible for investment activities across Sun Life Asset Management (HK).  She has over 20 years of experience investing across multi-asset classes.  She joined Sun Life in 2012 as portfolio manager for the insurance portfolios and later took on a leadership role in the regional office, providing oversight on investment management and driving strategic initiatives across Asia.  Prior to joining Sun Life, Ms Chung was a senior consultant at Mercer Investment Consulting providing investment advice for institutional clients in the region.  She has also worked in Hastings Funds Management, responsible for asset management activities for an unlisted private equity infrastructure fund.  She is a Fellow of Institute of Actuaries of Australia and holds a Master of Commerce from the Macquarie University, having previously competed Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Melbourne.

Tom Digby

Head of ETF business development and capital markets, Asia Pacific

Invesco

Tom Digby leads the ETF Business Development and Capital Markets team in Asia Pacific. The Business Development team helps Invesco clients across Asia Pacific, generate better outcomes in their investment portfolios whilst expanding Invesco’s ETF presence and capabilities across the region. In addition Tom leads the ETF Capital Markets team who provide in-depth trading, liquidity, product structure and market knowledge which help educate investors and market participants trade ETFs. Tom relocated to Hong Kong office in 2019 from Invesco EMEA where he held the position of Head of ETF Client Trading EMEA. There, he and his team helped investors find the most cost effective and efficient way to buy, sell or switch in to an of Invesco’s range of Exchange Traded Products. Prior to joining Invesco, Tom worked at Source, a specialized European-based ETF provider. As one of the original members of the Capital Markets team, he has a deep understanding of ETFs and the product suite. Tom holds a Master’s degree in Investment Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) part of the City of London University.

Fanda Ho

Head of Investment

Prudential Hong Kong

Fanda leads the Investment team in Prudential Hong Kong and is responsible for Strategic Asset Allocation and Portfolio Hedging to enhance the return and risk management for the products in order to meet the long term investment target. She is also responsible for overseeing the selection and performance of underlying managers. She works with key partners within Prudential group to design investment and operational framework for efficiently managing the entire portfolios, including tactical asset allocation, derivatives and other investment strategies (such as ESG and Alternatives). She also drives new product ideas from an investment initiative and supports investment related matters for marketing.

Fanda has over 14 years of experience in asset management and liability hedging for global insurance companies. Prior to joining Prudential Hong Kong in 2017, Fanda was the Client Solutions Director with Aviva Investors in London where she provided asset related solutions to internal and external clients. Before that she was the Senior Portfolio Manager overseeing the investment strategy of ₤50 bn annuity funds and also leading the hedging strategy of ₤100bn With-Profits funds in Prudential UK. Fanda is a CFA Charterholder and possesses BSc Actuarial Science from London School of Economics and MPhil Finance from University of Cambridge.

Yingyi Shen

Yingyi heads a single family office, managing overall asset allocation and direct equity investments for the family. She is based in Hong Kong. Prior to returning to Asia and joining family office industry, Yingyi was a global macro Portfolio Manager seeded by Tudor Investment Corporation in New York. Before that, she was a Portfolio Associate at PIMCO in Europe, focusing on G10 and Emerging Markets FX and rates.

Yingyi holds MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and B.S. in Mathematics and B.A. in Physics from Duke University.

Plato Wong

Plato Wong is the Head of Green and Sustainable Finance at Friends of the Earth (HK) responsible for the Green Finance team. His role entails close collaboration with government agencies, trade associations and supranational in formulating ESG frameworks and sustainability related policies.

Prior to joining Friends of the Earth (HK), he was a Guest Lecturer with City University responsible for delivering Economic subjects.

Before he joined City University, He was the APAC Director of Research and Operations for DHR International which is one of the leading Human Resources Consulting firms globally.

In addition, he has also worked as the APAC Research Manager at a FinTech company, Dealogic responsible for a group of 15 researchers analyzing Fixed Income transactions including Green Bonds, Sustainability-Linked Loans, and other green financing transactions in the Asia Pacific region.

Plato is a Certified ESG Analyst and a Certified ESG Planner with a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Australia.

Winnie Cheung

Syfe Hong Kong Limited

Winnie joined Syfe to help its expansion in Hong Kong, she is also part of the Group investment committee. She started her career in the hedge fund space using multi-strategies. Prior to that she began her career at the PwC HK assurance. She specialises in event-driven, US/China growth equities. She was formerly a Portfolio Manager before joining Syfe in Lego Asset Management. She is both a CFA and a CPA.

Josephine Chiu

Josephine is a former Director at Kingkey Asset Management and is also a key member of their Investment Committee. Josephine is responsible for the allocation of investment strategies and solutions for high-net-worth clients. Prior to Kingkey, Josephine was in the Institutional Business team of American Century Investments, Investment Banking team of Morgan Stanley, and the Real Estate Investment team of CLSA Capital.  

Josephine graduated from University of Western Ontario, Richard Ivey School of Business. She is also an avid investor in angel investments and property development. She also serves in the executive committee of the alumni association of both the Richard Ivey School of Business and the Canadian International School of Hong Kong. In her free time she enjoys playing golf, tennis, and porcelain painting. 

Jacqueline Pang

Head of ETF Sales, Asia Pacific

Jacqueline Pang is the Head of ETF Sales, Asia Pacific of HSBC Asset Management. She is responsible in building up and driving the growth of HSBC ETF distribution in the region. Jacqueline joined HSBC from State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), where she heads up the ETF Capital Markets activities for Asia Pacific where she was involved in setting up the SPDR ETF business in APAC as one founding member with the focus in driving the liquidity, execution proposition and strengthening the market structure within the ETF ecosystem. Before moving to Hong Kong, She was with Amundi Asset Management, where she ran the capital markets business and was responsible for the development of ETFs covering brokers and market makers across Europe. She was also a product specialist for hedge funds at Amundi Alternative Investment in France in 2007. Prior to working at Amundi, she worked at ICAP Asia Pacific in Singapore, where she worked as an inter-dealer broker covering the money market desk. She also worked at DBS Bank where she marketed products to private clients. Jacqueline has a bachelor of science in economics and finance from RMIT University.

Stephen Pau

Stephen is currently the Chief Investment Officer at Hefeng Family Office. Before Hefeng, he held financial positions in various institutions, including senior portfolio manager at Veco Invest (Asia) Limited; managing multi-manager portfolios at The Hong Kong Jockey Club, the largest institutional investors in the Asia Pacific region; at the quantitative micro-strategy team with Deutsche Bank, ranked one of the top three research teams in the Quantitative / Derivative Category by Institutional Investors; a portfolio analysis specialist with JP Morgan Asset Management in the UK; and a fixed income analyst for The St. Paul Travelers Companies, Inc. in the UK. Stephen has a MSc in Actuarial Science from Cass Business School in the UK and is a Chartered Statistician and a Chartered Scientist. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications.

Frederick Chu

Frederick is the Managing Director & Head of Financial Institutions at Magnum Research. He is responsible for developing the company’s business-to-business wealth and portfolio solutions under the AQUMON brand. Frederick has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. He was recently the Executive Director of Asset Management at Haitong International Group leading the HaitongETF business. Prior to that Frederick was the Head of ETFs at ChinaAMC(HK), managing the firm’s ETF franchise and strategies in Hong Kong and overseas. Frederick also worked at a number of global banks including HSBC, Credit Suisse, Societe Generale, as well as Lehman Brothers in the Prime Services and Capital Markets area. He started his career as a futures trader at Refco. Frederick holds a MBA degree from New York Institute of Technology, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia.

Jaye Chiu

Jaye Chiu is the regional head of investment for Bank of Montreal (BMO) Private Bank in Asia. In this role, he has overall leadership and governance responsibilities for the full suite of discretionary and advisory investment solutions provided to high net worth clients of BMO Private Bank in Hong Kong and Singapore booking centers. The regional investment team provides trading, discretionary portfolio management and investment advisory services across equities, fixed income & rates, foreign exchange, commodities, mutual funds, alternative investments and structured products.

Before joining BMO, Jaye was the Senior Managing Director, Head of Investment Hong Kong at EFG Bank AG. In this role, Jaye led the Investment Department that consisted of investment counselors, asset-class advisors, due diligence specialists and security traders. Prior to EFG, Jaye was the Head of Profiled & Fund Mandates, Asia for BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Jaye also held other previous roles in HSBC Private Bank and UBS Wealth Management.

Jaye graduated with honors from Tepper School of Business - Carnegie Mellon University in the United States. Based in Hong Kong since 2004, Jaye is a regular speaker at financial industry conferences and is a judge for various awards within the industry in Asia.

Kenny Wen

Mr. Wen joins KGI Asia in June 2022 and heads the team of investment strategy providing analysis on macroeconomic trends, equities in Hong Kong and Mainland China stock markets and advice on wealth management strategy. In his research capacity, apart from daily analysis reports, Kenny provides investment and fund analysis. He also writes for commentary columns in different media and has spoken at a variety of investment seminars. Prior to his role in KGI Asia, Mr. Wen was Wealth Management Strategist in Everbright Securities International since 2013 and led a retail research team.

Dr. Zhen Wei

Managing Director, Global Head, China Research

Dr. Zhen WEI is a Managing Director at MSCI and globally head the firms’ China Research and Product Development efforts. In addition, he spearheads thought leadership on China and Emerging Markets, Global Investing, Factor Investing, ESG Investing and Asset Allocation. Prior to joining MSCI, Zhen Wei led the Asia Pacific team of the Global Cross Asset Systematic Research division at J.P. Morgan. Before this, Zhen was a senior equity strategist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and fixed income strategist at Lehman Brothers. Dr. Wei has extensive research experience in global macro, ESG integration, asset allocation, risk management, quantitative models and investment product design. His research has been published in various international journals. Zhen Wei acquired his PhD in Statistics and Master Degree in Financial Mathematics from Stanford University. He has lectured MBA courses at the Chinese University of Hong Kong

Alvin Fan is the Chief Executive Officer of OP Investment Management Limited (OPIM), responsible for the company’s overall strategy. He has over 15 years’ experience in finance and strategy - spanning across managerial, private equity, and fund of funds. Alvin was previously Director of Incubated Funds and Head of Investor Relations at OP Financial Investments Ltd, a Hong Kong listed Investment Company, where he was responsible for monitoring the company’s portfolio of public equity investments. Prior to joining OP, Alvin was previously working in private equity focused on distressed assets and property. Alvin received his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario) in 2006.

Kelvin Koh

Kelvin has over 20 years of experience in investment and research across multiple asset classes and geographies.
Prior to serving as CIO of Spartan Capital, the hedge fund arm of Spartan Group, Kelvin was Managing Partner of Trident Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital firm.
Previously, Kelvin was a Partner and China CIO at Indus Capital, an Asia-focused equity hedge fund with over $6.5 billion in assets under management. Before joining Indus Capital, Kelvin was also Partner and Head of Research at Goldman Sachs, where he spent 18 years across its Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing offices. He started his career there as a research analyst, during which he garnered top rankings from Institutional Investor, AsiaMoney and Greenwich Associates for his industry-leading analysis.
