Frederick Chu

Frederick is the Managing Director & Head of Financial Institutions at Magnum Research. He is responsible for developing the company’s business-to-business wealth and portfolio solutions under the AQUMON brand. Frederick has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. He was recently the Executive Director of Asset Management at Haitong International Group leading the HaitongETF business. Prior to that Frederick was the Head of ETFs at ChinaAMC(HK), managing the firm’s ETF franchise and strategies in Hong Kong and overseas. Frederick also worked at a number of global banks including HSBC, Credit Suisse, Societe Generale, as well as Lehman Brothers in the Prime Services and Capital Markets area. He started his career as a futures trader at Refco. Frederick holds a MBA degree from New York Institute of Technology, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia.

Tom Digby

Head of ETF business development and capital markets, Asia Pacific

Invesco

Tom Digby leads the ETF Business Development and Capital Markets team in Asia Pacific. The Business Development team helps Invesco clients across Asia Pacific, generate better outcomes in their investment portfolios whilst expanding Invesco’s ETF presence and capabilities across the region. In addition Tom leads the ETF Capital Markets team who provide in-depth trading, liquidity, product structure and market knowledge which help educate investors and market participants trade ETFs. Tom relocated to Hong Kong office in 2019 from Invesco EMEA where he held the position of Head of ETF Client Trading EMEA. There, he and his team helped investors find the most cost effective and efficient way to buy, sell or switch in to an of Invesco’s range of Exchange Traded Products. Prior to joining Invesco, Tom worked at Source, a specialized European-based ETF provider. As one of the original members of the Capital Markets team, he has a deep understanding of ETFs and the product suite. Tom holds a Master’s degree in Investment Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) part of the City of London University.

Stephen Pau

Stephen is currently the Chief Investment Officer at Hefeng Family Office. Before Hefeng, he held financial positions in various institutions, including senior portfolio manager at Veco Invest (Asia) Limited; managing multi-manager portfolios at The Hong Kong Jockey Club, the largest institutional investors in the Asia Pacific region; at the quantitative micro-strategy team with Deutsche Bank, ranked one of the top three research teams in the Quantitative / Derivative Category by Institutional Investors; a portfolio analysis specialist with JP Morgan Asset Management in the UK; and a fixed income analyst for The St. Paul Travelers Companies, Inc. in the UK. Stephen has a MSc in Actuarial Science from Cass Business School in the UK and is a Chartered Statistician and a Chartered Scientist. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications.

Andy Wong

Mr. Wong graduated at the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in Economics. He is a professional with the qualification of Chartered Market Technicians (CMT). His research covers global markets and provide actual strategy to allocate different assets through mutual fund, ETF, equities, and options etc. He covers a Global Multi-Strategy fund, Passive Investment strategies, and Alternative investment – Luxury Watch.

Andy is frequently interviewed by Hong Kong and international financial journals. He is the author of an ETF investment book, ETF實戰策略》.

Teresa Zheng

Teresa Zheng has more than ten-year experience as an investment/portfolio manager in the financial industry, responsible for setting and executing investment strategy, doing research on financial market, performance attribution, and risk control. She held various investment roles covering multiple asset classes in Harvest Global Investment, Hang Seng Investment Management, FactSet StreetAccount, Citigroup Global Market, and First State Investment. She has worked as PM of ETF/indexing strategy for about 7 years. She received a PhD in Finance from HKUST and a M.E. from Xi’an Jiaotong University. She is also a CFA Charter holder

Josephine Chiu

Josephine is a former Director at Kingkey Asset Management and is also a key member of their Investment Committee. Josephine is responsible for the allocation of investment strategies and solutions for high-net-worth clients. Prior to Kingkey, Josephine was in the Institutional Business team of American Century Investments, Investment Banking team of Morgan Stanley, and the Real Estate Investment team of CLSA Capital.  

Josephine graduated from University of Western Ontario, Richard Ivey School of Business. She is also an avid investor in angel investments and property development. She also serves in the executive committee of the alumni association of both the Richard Ivey School of Business and the Canadian International School of Hong Kong. In her free time she enjoys playing golf, tennis, and porcelain painting.

Aleksey Mironenko is Global Head of Investment Solutions at Leo Wealth, an independent global wealth advisor. Based in Hong Kong, Aleksey is responsible for constructing client portfolios and overseeing the firm’s investment function. He is a strong believer in cost-efficient portfolio construction and asset allocation as the primary drivers of investor returns and thrives on achieving meaningful results and providing considered counsel to clients.

Prior to Leo Wealth, Aleksey was Partner and Chief Distribution Officer at Premia Partners, a Hong Kong ETF provider. During his time there, Aleksey helped build the fastest growing ETF provider in Hong Kong, taking the firm from inception to 8th by assets in Hong Kong in 3 years. Before Premia, Aleksey held various leadership positions at iShares, including Head of APAC Fixed Income and Head of Asia ex-Japan Institutions. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, he was based in BlackRock’s London, Tokyo and New York offices, helping institutions invest globally.

Aleksey earned a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Finance and General Accounting from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He is an avid rower, runner and traveler, and, most importantly, father to two beautiful girls and husband to one awesome Aussie.

(Honors, 1978) from Roosevelt University in the USA and is a graduate of the Stanford University Senior Executive Leadership Program and the 2011 Stanford Directors’ College.

She has authored a book on investing in H-shares, a Harvard Business case, a chapter in CFA Society Hong Kong’s 30th-anniversary book ‘Rise from Crises,’ and a book ‘Tall Miracles.’

Paul Kam

Paul has trained individuals at organisations such as McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and CVC; he was previously a SFC License 1,4,9 holder, and remains a CPA Australia Charter holder.

Hannah Mazur

Hannah Mazur, CFA is an ETF and Indexed Strategies Portfolio Manager with focus on APAC mandates and the UCITS exchange traded funds range. Hannah joined Invesco EMEA in 2019 from Northern Trust Asset Management, where she was the lead portfolio manager for Euro and Sterling liquidity funds. Earlier in her career, she worked as liquidity trader within the Northern Trust Treasury department and as a project finance analyst at Versus Partners, an independent corporate finance boutique in London. Hannah graduated with a 1st class Masters degree (MChem) from University of Oxford. She is a CFA charter holder and most recently she achieved the CFA UK Certificate in ESG Investing.

Kevin has extensive private banking and asset management experiences. He started his career as assistant lecturer in finance and economics at University of Applied Science in Switzerland (HES-SO). He then joined Pictet & Cie private bank as one of the first three graduates internationally ever selected for the global all-around program and worked several years in Geneva headquarter before being transferred internally to Hong Kong in 2007. He was a senior relationship and portfolio manager and co-managed a team that managed around 1 billion USD of Ultra High Net Worth international clients’ assets. In 2013, Kevin joined IAM Legacy, Family Office as one of the Managing Partners and built the asset management business including business and team development, investment services and operational management.  

Kevin is a Swiss, Taiwanese and Hong-Kong national and speaks fluently Mandarin, English and French. He holds a BSc in hospitality management from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne (EHL) in Switzerland and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also a CFA Charterholder and holds Hong Kong SFC type 4 (advising on securities) and type 9 (asset management) licenses.

Emerald Yau is Head of Equity Index Product Management, APAC at FTSE Russell. Ms. Yau is based in Hong Kong.

Ms. Yau is a seasoned international investment professional. Before joining FTSE Russell in 2020, she was an Investment Director at Capital Group, promoting global equity strategies. Before that, Ms.Yau was with BlackRock where she was a Product Strategist covering Asian fixed income and subsequently Asian equities. Earlier in her career, Ms. Yau covered structured alternatives at Shinsei Bank in Tokyo and asset-backed securities at Lehman Brothers in New York.

Ms. Yau is a CFA charter holder. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University.

Antoine de Saint Vaulry

Antoine de Saint Vaulry is leading the ETF initiative for CITI in APAC based in Hong Kong.

Antoine started his career in 2001 at Société Générale on the Equity Finance desk in Paris, and moved in 2004 to join the Securities Finance department of Commerzbank in London. In 2010, he relocated to Hong Kong to lead Commerzbank’s Delta 1 and Securities Financing Trading team.


From 2012 onwards, he has been in charge of setting up and developing Commerzbank’s award winning Asian ETF Market Making platform.


He joined CITI in September 2018, to build and grow Citi’s ETF Market Making capabilities in APAC and globally, as APAC Head of ETF trading.


He then expanded his remit in 2020 to cover Sales and Business Development for the ETF initiative across CITI’s different businesses.


With a wealth of knowledge and expertise in equity products, Antoine is a frequent contributor to the ETF world, whether it is speaking at conferences, roundtables and workshops or being quoted in articles around Asia.


Antoine received an MSc in Management from ESSEC Business School in France in 2001.

 

Andy Ng

Andy Ng, Investment Strategist from BlackRock's EII APAC Investment Strategy and Product Consulting team based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for delivering trade ideas and actionable market insights across asset classes to clients using iShares products.


Prior to joining BlackRock, Andy worked at Vanguard, as an Investment Product Specialist responsible for providing investment strategy and product recommendation to clients and sales teams. Prior to Vanguard, Andy was a Portfolio Manager at JP Morgan Asset Management Multi Asset Solutions group.
He managed multi asset portfolios for Asia's institutional clients and also Hong Kong Mutual Funds. As part of his role, he was responsible for fund selection, portfolio construction and tactical asset allocation analysis. He began his investment career with BlackRock in the Asia Equity team as an Equity Specialist.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Master of Commerce in Funds Management from the University of New South Wales.

Yi Wang

Yi Wang is the Managing Director and Head of Quantitative Investment at CSOP Asset Management Ltd. He oversees all ETF product investment activities including Equity ETFs, Leveraged and Inverse ETPs, Money Market Fund ETFs and Fixed Income ETFs. He also oversees the active Fixed Income portfolio management. He is the voting member within CSOP investment committee and deputy chairman of CSOP responsible investment committee. Prior Joining CSOP, Yi was in Redington LLP (London) focusing on UK and EU pension/insurance investment solution. Zita Chung

Ms Zita Chung is the Chief Investment Officer responsible for investment activities across Sun Life Asset Management (HK).  She has over 20 years of experience investing across multi-asset classes.  She joined Sun Life in 2012 as portfolio manager for the insurance portfolios and later took on a leadership role in the regional office, providing oversight on investment management and driving strategic initiatives across Asia.  Prior to joining Sun Life, Ms Chung was a senior consultant at Mercer Investment Consulting providing investment advice for institutional clients in the region.  She has also worked in Hastings Funds Management, responsible for asset management activities for an unlisted private equity infrastructure fund.  She is a Fellow of Institute of Actuaries of Australia and holds a Master of Commerce from the Macquarie University, having previously competed Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Melbourne.

Fan Cheuk Wan

Fan Cheuk Wan is the Chief Investment Officer, Asia for Global Private Banking and Wealth at HSBC. Ms Fan is a member of the Global Investment Committee for Global Private Banking and Wealth and Chair of the Regional Investment Committee in Asia. In this role, she is in charge of the Chief Investment Office in Asia, responsible for developing investment strategies and themes across all asset classes for clients of Wealth and Personal Banking in the region. She is also responsible for investment content and regional product fulfillment strategies in Asia.

Ms Fan has 28 years of investment experience and she joined HSBC in April 2016. Prior to joining HSBC, she worked for Credit Suisse Private Banking, serving as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer Asia Pacific in 2013-2015, Head of Equity Research and Head of Research Asia Pacific in 2006-2013.  Ms Fan also held senior China equity research roles for 11 years, working at ABN AMRO Bank, Cazenove Asia, BNP Peregrine Securities and Standard Chartered Securities. She is a regular speaker and contributor in the media, including Bloomberg TV, CNBC, Cable TV, NOW TV, Channel NewsAsia and many global and local newspapers in Asia.

Ms Fan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Hong Kong, an MA in Area Studies (China) from the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London and an MBA from the Imperial College Business School in London. Before joining the finance industry, Ms Fan served as a political journalist specialised in Chinese and Hong Kong politics for seven years and was Political Editor of the Hong Kong Economic Journal.

Dr. Don Huang
